Guided Fly & Light Tackle fishing expeditions specializing in shallow water sight fishing
Dedicated to making memories on the water
Fishing and exploring South Florida waters since I was a child, I always give it my all and have never stopped exploring or trying to learn new things. Every day on the water is a learning opportunity. I strive to implement extensive knowledge of local waters, seasonal patterns, and cutting-edge equipment into my guiding every day. From the moment we push off the dock until we return, we focus on safety, conservation, and creating memorable experiences that turn casual outings into lasting memories.
Captain Quinton “Q” DeStout
I’ve always been the type of person to obsess over whatever it is that I’m “into” at the time. Most of my hobbies seemed to last a few years and then I was on to the next thing.
Fishing, on the other hand, has become a way of life for me. It’s something that I know will always be there. Getting out on the water running the boat in beautiful, remote areas is magical for me. Nobody telling me what to do or how to do it, that’s true freedom.
I often wondered when becoming a guide if it would take away from my love for fishing, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, what gets me excited now is seeing how special it is for my guests to have success, whether it’s someone’s first snook, redfish or tarpon. To see someone light up when their hard work and persistence pays off, that’s the true reward for me.
I feel honored that people trust me to ensure they have a memorable experience on the water and often times that means more than just the fishing. You learn a lot about someone being in a little skiff with them all day.
From novice to seasoned anglers, each outing offers the opportunity for a unique experience.
Let’s get out there and wet a line!

The Glades
I’ve been coming down to fish the Everglades for almost 10 years now. It’s a place of peace for me. The small town, the people, the country. It’s hard to have a bad day in the Everglades. Something unique will happen every day out there. Maybe a dolphin will follow close in the boat wake, a bald eagle sitting on an empty beach, a fish does something spectacular. Every fish you catch is different, the way the fish eats a lure or fly could be more entertaining than actually catching the fish. I don’t measure success by how many fish were caught that day but how the fish were caught and what we did to get to them. The Everglades is endless and one lifetime isn’t nearly enough to figure out how it works. Factors like wind, tides, cloud cover, temperature, and many other variables effect how we fish and what fish we target that day. Every day is different out here. It’s ever changing.
Jupiter, FL
Jupiter is home to some of the most consistent giant snook fishing in the world. During the summer months (May, June, July, August) you’ll have the opportunity to catch a true trophy size snook 40 inches and over every trip. These fish experience a lot of fishing pressure but if you put your time in it will pay off with a giant. This isn’t quantity fishing. We will be targeting large breeding female snook. One big fish a trip is what we’re after. Big Jacks are also a great catch in this area. Nothing gets the drag screaming on a reel like a big Jack Crevalle.
